Always Wrong, But Never In Doubt
From Daniel Penny and Kyle Rittenhouse to Israel and George Kelly, the American left seems to always side with the bad guys.
One of the most professed duties/beliefs of the American political left is they are for the underdog.
But are they, really?
Under this rubric, their duties entail, as they define them today, are the defense of minority criminals by reducing the criminal liabilities (i.e. bail “reform” that allows perpetrators to hit the street before the ink is dry on their paperwork or completely ignoring crimes (like theft, shoplifting – or even assault) while maliciously prosecuting any of the majority who would deign to interfere with a perpetrator in the commission of a crime.
Remember how, during the George Floyd protests in St. Louis, Missouri, Patricia and Mark McCloskey pointed firearms and yelled at protesters marching through the private neighborhood they co-owned. They were charged and went through months of legal wrangling before they plead guilty to misdemeanor offenses: Mark for fourth-degree assault, and Patricia for harassment. They were eventually pardoned by the Missouri governor.
Kyle Rittenhouse was jailed and dragged through the court system for two years for what was clearly an act of self-defense while those who looted and burned are never even charged.
J6 grandmothers who wandered into the Capitol are hunted four years after the protest turned violent and we still do not know who set the pipe bombs.
Think about the case of Daniel Penny, a former Marine who subdued Jordan Neely as he threatened everybody on a NYC subway car. Neely passed out and later died despite Penney’s best efforts to revive him.
In Arizona, George Alan Kelly, a 75-year-old rancher, is on trial for a second-degree murder charge in connection with the shooting death of an illegal immigrant last year even though the illegal alien was trespassing, and Kelly was concerned for the safety of him and his wife.
These minorities, primarily black or illegal aliens, are the downtrodden upon the backs of whom the majority white United States built its nation and pride.
As we learned during the BLM/ANTIFA protests/riots/looting/arsonfests in 2020 and 2021, blacks raiding downtown stores and emptying everything that is not bolted to the floor (and then burning the stuff that is bolted down) are reparations brought about righteous anger and is not to be interfered with. These are not “crimes,” they are the correction of historical crimes committed by America.
We are told we should not defend ourselves or our property from these groups, and if we do, we are guilty of race hate and murder (if we kill someone in our defense).
Their reasoning is aggressive – and faulty.
It comes from a core belief that America is so bad, she needs to be spanked – and not in a good way.
It is a belief so deeply ingrained; it permeates all their thinking.
Mark Milley calling the Chinese to warn them about Trump.
BLM protesters going free.
Biden calling for a cease fire in Gaza and then telling Israel not to respond to the Iranian attacks.
The idea that the guilty are innocent and the innocent are guilty is the benchmark of everything the political left does, even in foreign policy.
When you consider the totality of these thought processes, there is only one unfortunate conclusion.
When people are against Americans doing American things, availing themselves of constitutional protections, those people are simply not Americans.
Much of the agenda of the left is to destroy the country they take for granted. And with the media, mostly in control and assisted by government agencies as revealed in the Twitter files by Taibbi and Weiss, the dumbing down of the young has born this fruit of determined stupidity.
I thought about two things as I read this well written posting. The first is that they (the left) either have no understanding of what it means to be a hypocrite and a racist (a sign of being totally stupid), or they just do not care (a sign of pure hate and evil). The second was the thought of Forgive them Father for they no not what they do. Unfortunately, the Right - and for that matter - a lot of true patriot Americans are just beginning to see the futility in that statement.
It's high time we make our voice heard loud and clear - and I hope that we can do it this November!
