A Democrat Chernobyl
Compressed over a three week period, a cascade of failures expose just how Soviet the American Democratic Party has become.
In her memoir titled “A Mountain of Crumbs,” Russian linguist Elena Gorokhova wrote:
“The rules are simple: they lie to us, we know they’re lying, they know we know they’re lying, but they keep lying to us, and we keep pretending to believe them.”
Every day since the June twenty-seventh presidential debate has been extremely interesting because with each passing day, the curtain is pulled back and we see into the Democrat political machinations, how the Democrat government works, and who the people are who occupy positions of responsibility in this government.
I was flying to Houston yesterday and had the chance to listen to large portions of the testimony of the completely inept Director of the Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, and I was trying to put my finger on what common thread ties all I have seen over the past twenty-five days or so.
In a weird twist of fate, my seatmate in 2C was watching a miniseries on his laptop and as I glanced over, I had one of those “By, George!” moments.
He was watching an episode of the 2019 HBO miniseries “Chernobyl” and at that moment, multiple dendrites fired in my brain, and I figured out what had been banging around in my skull like a marble in an empty washing machine.
It struck me how like the Soviet sociopolitical ecosystem the Democrat Party, the Democrat governance, and the Democrats themselves, are. The Chernobyl miniseries was a good illustration of how the Soviet command and control structure and incompetence has strong correlation to the situation we are watching play out in the Democrat Party.
We give Reagan a lot of credit for bringing down the Soviet Union, and he deserves every bit of it, but there is an argument to be made that he was assisted by an epidemic of incompetence, one metastasizing throughout the USSR, but it was a special kind of incompetence, a sort of bi-lateral incompetence where those who did things and of those who decided who does them were both incompetent.
It sure feels like the Biden Administration, doesn’t it?
When positions of responsibility are handed out based on party loyalty, like the bad old days in the USSR, it should be no surprise bad things happen. It can be argued, successfully I think, that the Democrat party is like the Soviets in that respect – the incompetence so evident with people like Kimberly Cheatle (who is a carbon copy of a Soviet apparatchik), would seem prima facie evidence that critical positions are being handed out based on party loyalty rather than competence.
It explains how they manipulated their own primary system to get Joe Biden, a lifelong loyalist – and their effusive praise of him ( an unparalleled hero of the Motherland!) as they depose him, strip him of power, send him into exile in Rehoboth and replace him with the younger but even more incompetent Kamala Harris.
Isn’t it remarkable how, for three years, Biden has been vigorously defended by the left, often turning vicious, only to stage a coup? To see the party power base and all their drones fall in line within twenty-four hours must have been jarring to the Biden Camp.
President one day, making hostage videos and proof-of-life phone calls the next.
But it is never about competence, only about total party loyalty and the willingness to do literally anything to advance their agenda.
I ran across a post by a freelance author by the name of Viktorya Muradyan, she wrote:
People were frustrated that the state was limiting the freedom of speech of the ones who were disturbed the accepted social order and questioned the credibility of the system. Instead, they preferred those who were lying about their ability to handle the situation but failing big.
And finally, people were furious that the same state was giving power to ignorant and incompetent people who suddenly became something from nothing, took their power for granted by reinforcing it through abuse and pressure. What a perfect dialogue the [Chernobyl] writers picked to illustrate this:
“I’ve learnt nuclear physics. Before taking the office you were working in a shoe factory.”
“Yeah, I worked in a shoe factory. Now I am in charge.”
The political ideology of the Soviet Union was built on a culture of fear and lies. The people were so saturated in this culture of lies that they eventually grew so cynical, the lies were simply accepted as normal.
So it has become within the Democrat Party, their members, and their supporters.
The last few weeks has exposed them as the new Soviets.
God help us if they win in November.
So sadly true. The scary thing is they just might win
It’s a sign of how uninformed the average American voter has become.
